Act as a technical lead for designing and managing development and corporate networks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage networks using the Cisco product line and Fortinet Load balancers.
- Oversee the deployment and management of SD WAN solutions to optimize network performance and reliability.
- Utilize Cisco DNAC for network configuration and automation, ensuring adherence to best practices of Config as Software.
- Conduct network troubleshooting and performance monitoring using tools such as TCPdump.
- Manage and configure network systems using Linux-based operating environments.
- Maintain version control and collaborative network scripting using Git.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to fortify network defenses and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Lead cross-functional team projects, demonstrating strong communication skills and fostering a cooperative team environment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, applying them to improve network efficiency and performance.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years professional Network Engineering experience with a focus on Cisco technologies and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Advanced Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE).
- Proficient with Fortinet Load balancers and SD WAN implementations.
- Strong understanding of Config as Software best practices, particularly with Cisco DNAC.
- In-depth knowledge of network diagnostics and monitoring tools like TCPdump.
- Experience with Linux and Git in a network engineering context.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a high-stake environment.
